Bob and Andrea bought Pine Grove Lodge & Cabins in 1998. Bob had been a Registered Maine Master Guide since 1976 and guided part-time, but had been working full-time in a local paper mill until it closed. That seemed like the perfect opportunity to turn his dream of guiding full time into reality. Bob and Andrea worked hard to increase the available experiences here at Pine Grove from the initial bear hunting to include many other species of wild game like trophy whitetail and snowshoe hare, as well as fishing opportunities, wildlife viewing, and much more. Most importantly, Bob has used his guide service and lodge as a tool for teaching the thousands of people who visited over the last 25 years all about the outdoor environment and wildlife that surrounds us.
