Fly fishing in Maine is truly a special experience, with the amount of untamed forest
speckled with remote ponds which rarely see fisherman, and beautiful rivers such as the
Kennebec teeming with trout and salmon, there are very few places that you can
experience true wilderness like you can in Maine. With over 400 remote trout ponds in
the area around the lodge, many of them fly fishing only, there is a near endless supply
of ponds to explore. We specialize in fishing these remote ponds where we may be the
only people to cast a line in days, or we may share the pond with only one or two other
fishermen. We also offer drift boat trips down the Kennebec if running water is more
your style.
Your Maine Guide will provide you with a wonderful day fly fishing on a remote pond or river. Equipment can be supplied if needed. We can plan whatever type of fishing day you prefer, so talk to your guide in advance so he may prepare accordingly.
