This 2-3 day trip is 34 mile canoe trip across two remote lakes and down the Moose
River. This stretch of the Moose River is a meandering stream full of moose, eagles,
and various other wildlife. The two lakes are beautiful as well with large beaches, tall
mountains and rocky cliffs lining the shore. There is also Holeb Falls, a large stunning
waterfall that we can stop and take photos of while we portage around it. The whole trip
takes three days and two nights to complete and it is an extremely calm and relaxing
trip with very few rapids and obstacles. Its a great trip for beginners who want to
experience Maines wilderness without the risk and time commitment a longer more
challenging trip such as the Allagash.
